Pattypans are known as the flying saucers of the zucchini family, which is good to know as they taste out of this world! (sorry for the pun - I couldn't resist)
These are the showstoppers of Featherbed Farm. Small enough to make an appetiser that will impress all your friends!
Start by roasting the Pattypan, then cut it in half. Scoop out some of the filling, chop and fry with some squash blossoms and any herbs you love. This is my favorite type of recipe, simple execution for maximum impression!
